FOCUS Youth Media was formed by Columbia University film graduate students Wendy James and Charlotte Glynn in the fall 2009 to introduce young people in the communities surrounding Columbia University to filmmaking. The in-school program is facilitated by film Graduate Students at the University. The 15-week program focuses on video production and media literacy, culminating with a screening of the students’ films.
